The Art of Emotion

To wish and want is futile,
For it is in these actions that we fail.
To lie and deceive is beguiled,
For with these it is evil we entail.

To love without reason or rhyme,
Is to mince the heart and boggle the mind.
To live without goal or time,
Is to condemn one's self to hell and it's finds.

Wish not, want not.
Love divinely and live fully.
Fight not your thoughts,
And surrender not to the bully.

For it is in the mind we hold power,
And through the heart it is enforced.
All life to flower,
And feel not remorse.

Lastly, hold to your own,
Accept death before surrender.
So that your glory shall condone,
Long after the fire and the embers.
