Earth, Wind, Fire, Water.

Wrapped in your four walls with a fire burning bright,
Whilst outside in the cold I stand lonely at night,
It does my mind wonders to think bad of you both,
But we're friends, yet enemies, sworn to an oath.

You mightn't know it, but we're growing apart,
With each passing moment, you're cleansed from my heart
With one single breath, hanging crystals in the air,
Where dissipating winds spread dissipating cares.

Eye level with you both, we smiled, we stood
As friends, close as equals, couldn't frown if we should,
But all good things must come to an end
And take with it all that would matter, fragile flower I tend.

Popped like a bubble on rogue scattered current,
Where energy I push into needs aren't apparent,
Yet I strive for the best and stood out from the crowd
And I'm the one smiling now.

A month is the time, that's all it will take
A shining star awaits me, a shimmering lake
Of an undying passion, a river of devotion
Leading from it, a glistening ocean
Where floating forever I shall with my needs,
And never again will the lake take its heed,
Where within a second the plan can be altered
And thus we escaped from lifes major faulter.

Give me one moment and I'll settle the fire,
Give me an hour and I'll build an empire,
Give me a lifetime and I'll be a divine,
Give me forever and I'll make this all mine,
For in just a moment, a fuel can be made
And in just an hour, civilisations make trade,
For in just a lifetime, your heart brings me strength,
Yet given forever, our love, of undefined length,
Will shine on the mantle of Earths burning core,
Your heart is mine, and mine is yours,
And with this and a smile,
I needn't ask more.
