Hesitation

She prays, she sways.
Diziness surrounds her.
The letter stays attatched to her hand,
Attatched to her heart.

A simple apology, maybe.
Or a complicated confession.
Three simple words,
A complicated life of "I love you"s.

The set of stairs stand,
Leading to his current life.
Maybe he's moved on.
Maybe he's still staring at her senior picture.

She takes deep, deep breaths.
