Invisible

She sits in class
Cold and alone
No one sees her
No one cares
She sits and draws
She sits and writes
She speaks when spoken to
But nary another word
The ink dries on the paper
And she folds the poem
Sealing it in an envelope
Writing 'My suicide'
On the front
And leaves it on her desk
Raising her hand
She goes to the bathroom
The gun is cold against her temple
She pulls the trigger
They all come rushing in
They finally saw her
They finally cared
She'll never sit in class
All alone and oh so very cold
