The Silent Tears

The silent tears,
Rolling down her face,
Hit the hardwood floor,
She wishes to erase,
All the mistakes she’s made,
And all the lies she’s told,
Because now her friendship,
Is sold,
The silent tears,
Keep rolling down her face,
Still hitting that hardwood floor,
As she reaches for her suitcase,
She takes a breath,
And walks out the door,
Of the house,
That she will always adore,
She thinks of the good,
That’ll come out of this,
But her mind keeps going back,
To the things she’ll miss,
Those silent tears,
Just keep falling,
As she walks away,
From everything worth loving.
