Bosco

Bigger than me, and brown as mud, which he likes to dig in often.
His lolling tongue loves to lick everything and its always hanging out of his mouth.
Trusting eyes adorn his faces, which always has a happy expression.
His long stong tail trails behind him, a streak you can see when he runs.
He's warm, and he's furry and he's big and he's kind and the perfect pillow after along winters day.

Bosco may see me as his big bald pal, and the one who will fill his food bowl.
I'll romp around outside with him, and then give him more attention afterwards.
I give him his treats, and I give him his praise and I comfort him when he's lonely.
I am his playmate and his family.

My lab and I are both loyal and kind.
we are hyper and happy and loving.
He and I both love to cuddle and sleep,
and both of us are often hungry.
We never say no to some time with a friend
and family is the best thing we've got.

From Bosco I've learned of all of life's joys, of the fun you can have from the small.
I've learned to forgive and forget ecause Bosco's shown me love is the best thing of all.
