I saw you walking down the street today
You didn't watch me walk by
Like I watched you
Surprise over the fact
That you could still hurt me
Without even looking at me
Stopped me dead in my tracks
For a split second
I could see what you have done to my life
The affect you had
The way you destroyed everything
My sense of humor
My happiness
My friends
My family.........................
My heart
.........................
In that split second I realized how
Better off I was without you,
And then you turned and your eyes
Glanced my way,
My heart broke into a million more pieces
Just like ever other day
