In Their Wildest Dreams

A little girl walking in the dark,
Not knowing if she’ll find a safe place to sleep this night.
She’s walking in the grass, watching the stars,
Not knowing if she’ll be able to wake up the next day.

A little boy on his post on the camp,
Not knowing that there is soon to be an ambush.
He’s sitting there half asleep, watching the stars,
not aware of the dangers behind, trying to take his life away.

Two kids sleeping safe in their beds,
Not knowing the pain and dangers other kids has to handle.
Just laying there, far away in their wildest dreams,
Well knowing they’ll wake up again, to the safety in their home.
