Keep On

Keep on
Aaron Ducker

I met a man in the Sahara
He said my life was about to get bizzarer
And my hope was dying as I entered the desert
And My heart was trying as I ventured the sands
And though the path was ready preset
I could not find the wet lands
And then the man suddenly
Turned and then he said to me

Keep on son, keep moving on
You can sleep when you are done
But son you gotta
Keep on, keep on
Quench your thirst with lifes water
Keep on… keep on keepin’ on

Keep on the ball
Even though the wise man
He may take the easy fall
But you know you’ll get the prize man
And you know you’ll get the glory
The oasis is just an illusion
But you got your story
And I’ve got my inclusion

Keep on son, keep moving on
You can sleep when you are done
But son you gotta
Keep on, keep on
Quench your thirst with lifes water
Keep on… keep on keepin’ on

So as the horse with no name died
We used it for its meat to eat
And though the horseman surely cried
It will be ages till we meet
You know I made it out of that wasteland
And you know I made it out as a whole man
All because the man suddenly
Turned and then he said to me

Keep on son, keep moving on
You can sleep when you are done
But son you gotta
Keep on, keep on
Quench your thirst with lifes water
Keep on… keep on keepin’ on
