The Unexpected Visit

Moving on unsweetened tea with a hint of lime

Eyes look out to warn of ghosts fadng into time

Lips pour out int an almot empty glass

Hands reach only to see i am just the past

I glance across the room to see my picture on the wall

When you come home you'll find, i was never here at alll

don't mind that there was one less tea bag in your pantry

I could have gotten wine out, but that is much to fancy

I respect all your ethical ways to live

Wanted to leave a present, but there's nothing i can give

I just recently found all the junk under your bed

Would of cleaned it up, but can't bccause I'm dead

So who you ask would barge on into your home?

Never would you guess it was your dear old mom.
