Love People Die For

She's leaving,
for good this time.
He cries out to her,
"I'll never forget you!"

As she walks down the road,
She whispered,
"I'm always going to remember you..."
As a silent tear ran down both their faces.

She took another step,
a car came speeding down,
plowing into her.

He screamed,
she lay in the road,
life-less, not moving,
as she took her last breath,
she whispered,
"I love you."
