Children's Play

Swish, giggle, giggle.
That’s the sound of children’s play.
The kids are out and about
With no worries in their way.
You can hear their voices aloud,
As it livens up the cool December day.

Pop, fizzle, fizzle.
That’s the sound of noon.
The children are all ready to eat,
Ready for their tummies to be full soon.
The food is quite a little treat,
With still no sign of the moon.

Tap, clatter, clatter.
That’s the sound of children going home.
The parents are getting everything ready for bed,
No little ones left out to roam.
Children are laying down their heads,
All are happy to just be home.
