My Dove

I want you to fly far and wide,
To live your exuberant life.
I'll keep your home nest in my mind,
For you are my true wildlife.

I yearn dearly for your return,
That I know will never arrive.
But I live for this precious burn,
For what else is there for my thrive?

I maybe dying but, I'm alive
Do to you and your undertakings.
'I'll stay here forever', is a lie,
But one treasure is our lovings.

Forever you are to be my dove,
Along with being my true love.
