Disrupted

Where in the past a lover's arms
Were warm with love and comfort
Keeping their baby safe from harm
From all the world's abusive hurt

In sleep, their sweetheart laid to rest
In peace, their dreams sweetly passing
But hence, on the horizon there is
A fire, it's flames arising

And scattering came the people, crying
As rage and anger beseeched them
A God's fury caused the people's dying
Earth wreaking with chaos and mayhem

But peacefully in dreamland, sweetheart slept
Lover panicking, to keep them safe
Begging the gods, oh please, have mercy
Don't cause my baby this grief

Gods and Goddesses alike, they rose
They killed, the besieged with no warnings
Upon thy peoples they inflicted so
A passionate cessation, forlorning

Thy baby slept, her breath saccharine
As the vexation of the Gods enlivens
Her sleep, however, turned fitful when
Her dreams showed the fall of Heaven

And when the light came crashing down
All the peoples, they burned away
And God of hell, with his fiery crown
Took thy baby as his Goddess, his to stay

Thy could do nothing, missing her now
Wishing she was under your tender care
Your calamities collapsing, you wept
She's not here, she's in hell with him there

Her tranquil dreams disrupted
Heaven collapsing beneath her
The volcanic anger erupted
The flags of hell erected
His lustful arms embraced her

They took her away.

Alas, in where a lover's arms
Were warm with love and comfort...
