"Enchanted Sunset"
The light fades to a glow,
That illuminates the pallet of the sky.
The colours crash like the great waves below,
The dark water gently curls in grace,
It swells,
And peaks with a cap of white foam,
That crackles in the wind.
The waves race to the shore
And break with a crash
Against slippery,
Black boulders of ebony.
The howling wind catches my hair
So that it dances with new found freedom.
When I try to look away
I find
That I can not peel my eyes from the beauty.
Yes,
Indeed,
I have been caught,
By yet another
Enchanted
Sunset.
That illuminates the pallet of the sky.
The colours crash like the great waves below,
The dark water gently curls in grace,
It swells,
And peaks with a cap of white foam,
That crackles in the wind.
The waves race to the shore
And break with a crash
Against slippery,
Black boulders of ebony.
The howling wind catches my hair
So that it dances with new found freedom.
When I try to look away
I find
That I can not peel my eyes from the beauty.
Yes,
Indeed,
I have been caught,
By yet another
Enchanted
Sunset.
