Maledict Demise.

Maledict Demise

When the Moon sets the turbid waters ablaze,
The frozen ground lies silent and still. Hallow.
Deaf and blind. Dead.
Innocent eyes are raped by a lustful gaze
On a land forgotten. Hollow.
Leaving one heart coiling in quick sand.

In the maze of murderous sites
Of the gore clad grounds and stones,
Her halo lies broken.
Faint light struggles to break the ashen nights
As it uncovers young, marrow-stripped bones –
A lonesome token.

Through the woe of earthen miseries,
Once hallowed, now crepuscular silhouette mourns
Over the skies clad in thorns,
Over the pain that clouds her eyes,
Over two faced blissful tragedies
Over the crooked ether her presence adorns,
Over such unapologetic lies.

Defamed and disgraced, a harlot, a whore
Still enjoys her maledict hate,
Her own boreal Hell.
The bells toll their dour song – Nevermore!
As her condemned form meets its gruesome fate.
Her demise she can not word. The truth? Sewn lips can not tell.

Nevertheless they strike at the dark nails of faith,
Tormenting the elegantly skewered figure –
It lies fire-clad and alone on the reddened stones.
The mute shadows hold her truth and will house her wraith
When her devitalized mind crumbles in its fiery end where it will linger
Until the golden locks are burnt like incense in sunlit domes.

The bricolage of ignorant faces cheers in all its boon;
Charred fingers reach towards the sky,
Reach, but can not firm their clasp
Around the Salvation, can not break the unearthly binds.
Innocent eyes pray to the Moon –
Why must one be defamed to die?
The question lingers unanswered and out of her demure grasp.

Finally, the ashes ember and the fires rise;
Stirred crowd grows silently loud.
Extended arms fall and in all their stillness they lie.
Awed eyes stare at the pearls and the blackened skin,
At the sockets missing their innocent eyes.
A dying scream tears through the stunned air, a horrid sound
As her shadows wander through them, slaughtering their providence from within,
Echoing the lies.

Ridding her mind
Of dust-coved cloak of compassion for all the human kind,

Waking from the utopian dreams and taking back the second chance,
She proudly screams:

I am your Nemesis!
