Seven Bucks a Pop

Look behind the curtain, out into the crowd.
The audience is huge; it's a full house!
The actors say a prayer together before the curtain opens.
The play begins with happiness.
The audience members yawn and look around.
The middle begins to get depressing.
The audience members lean forward in their seats.
The end ends in suicide for all.
The audience gives a standing ovation.
They've enjoyed seeing other people's misery.
The play is on again tomorrow night.
I guarantee they'll be back for more.
