Icy breath of Winter fair,
Twisting through Summer’s hair,
The branches of the evergreen trees,
Rimmed with frost,
Just like a dream.

Summer’s life sleeping tight,
For eternity, for a night,
Whispering will not awake,
The dreaming life,
With tales to make.

Summer’s eyes shining bright,
Winter’s eyes the moon at night,
Summer and Winter, two entwined,
Opposites of either kind,
In the spirit, in the mind.

Winter rules throughout the year,
Summer is but nothing to fear,
Winter dances in the Spring,
Winter rules all, sing its song,
Sending whispers all night long.

It’s the place of ice and snow,
Clouds low and breezes blow,
Instead of rain, soft snow falls,
A blanket of serenity
Trapped in time.
