Matt's Poem

Tonight it's raining heavily,
And I'm lonely again,
I lay here on this river-bank,
Wondering what will become of me.
My fur begins to soak
Just like the dirt beneath me,
My thoughts return to home,
Return to my family.

As I run into deep thought,
The world turns into one big storm,
Thunder and lighting raging towards me
Like the sea runs against the sand.
Lonely am I now,
No family, no friends,
I look up at the spitting sky
And ask why I left in the first place.

The wind howls into my ears,
Like a heartbroken wolfess,
Turning my head I see her,
The beautiful Lupin and her sleek black fur,
Tears streaming down her face.
I walk over to her and talk to her,
Try to see what could be upsetting her,
A wolfess so beautiful.
