Sleeping Beach
The sun sets on my sea-side home
Everything becomes quiet
The waves whisper secrets to the sand
And then back away, embarrassed
The seagulls stop their calls
And the fish can sleep sound
And the sea is calm
The water recedes slowly, only to return again by morning
But now it's dark, time for rest, good night beach, sleep well.
