Blood Bath

Bright cold day,
Sun shining everywhere,
Me and my brother went
Out to play,
Until BAM
it hit me,
Glass scattered
everywhere,
Hard to breath
in the cold winter
Air, blood coming down
like raindrops
I knew at that moment I would be scarred
For life and
would be forever
Stitches hanging down
like rope on
My arm,
As an bandage
over the wound,
And being made
fun of by others,
This is not the first,
and I’m
Afraid it is not the last either.
It was an blood bath.
