Never Got To Say Goodbye

Coming in the room,
and I can't help but cry.
Everything of yours comes into view,
but I never got to say goodbye.

I get a teddy-bear,
and a small wooden box.
I see all these angels,
I can only think of what I've lost.

If I said I didn't miss you,
everyone knows that'd be a lie.
'Cause everyone can see that I really do,
but I never got to say goodbye

And now that you're gone,
it's too quiet for my liking.
So, I listen to some songs
that relate to this feeling.

And as I am writing this,
I get tears in my eyes.
I know you are in a better place now,
but I still never got to say goodbye.
