Sold out concerts, bright lights on stages
Bus tours, driving days and fans in loud rages
I like to play guitar with six strings

Sleeping on weekends and dreams of show biz

With skin that shines like butterfly wings

My dog Buddy and friends from schools
Walking in sunshine and swimming in pools
Staying up late while flying on swings

When the show ends
When the fat lady sings
When the last person leaves
I pack the guitar, after loosening the strings
And put on my hat then roll up my sleeves
