Oh Angel!

Oh misfortunate one! Oh toughened child!
Your innocence stolen so early,
Your distant sky forever filled
With fire and destruction.
Your bright eyes bleed sights
No child should ever witness.

Oh faithful one! Oh steel will!
Your courage and honor,
Your faith in love and angels
Endlessly awe others;
Yet your faith in yourself,
In your heart, is lacking.

Oh disheartened one! Oh troubled soul!
No such burning yearning
For a desire so pure and good
Has anyone ever encountered,
As which lies seemingly dormant,
Unreachable in your mind.

Oh sweet boy! Oh winged savior!
Doubt not what’s on your back,
Nor what others fail to see.
Quiet your soul; close your eyes,
Within your thoughts, within your heart,
Within your actions, feel your wings.
