Verdict.

The verdict decides
Who lives and who dies
The judges never listen, to the pleas or the cries.
The tears fill the room, like a moth to a flame.
I never want to hear your name..
The lawyers they cheat.
They lie, and deceive.
Never caring for the hurt or the grief.
So here is my verdict.
I swear I’ll be brief.
I cannot tell you this was hard to predict.
I cannot call you a liar, a thief
So I sentence you now, on three counts of treason.
So now where’s the harm
Please tell me your reason.
You’ve triggered my alarm, so I now want the truth.
Ha! You won’t tell me, then fine take a look.
Here is my heart, it alone is the proof.
