In the Hospital Bed
I'm bored,
Bored to death.
I'm tired,
Tired to death.
In this hospital bed I lay myself,
Waiting,
For the day to arrive.
It's been a lifetime since I was here,
And I am so alone,
Nurses and doctors,
They are like shadows.
And so,
I look at the window,
Looking at the one desire I've been longing for,
FREEDOM.
I want to escape this hospital,
But if I did,
I would face the consequences.
I'd love to feel the breeze of the relaxing wind,
I'd love to hear a person's voice and laughter,
I'd love to stand and walk everywhere...
But I'm here,
Still in this hospital bed,
Waiting...
For the day to arrive
Bored to death.
I'm tired,
Tired to death.
In this hospital bed I lay myself,
Waiting,
For the day to arrive.
It's been a lifetime since I was here,
And I am so alone,
Nurses and doctors,
They are like shadows.
And so,
I look at the window,
Looking at the one desire I've been longing for,
FREEDOM.
I want to escape this hospital,
But if I did,
I would face the consequences.
I'd love to feel the breeze of the relaxing wind,
I'd love to hear a person's voice and laughter,
I'd love to stand and walk everywhere...
But I'm here,
Still in this hospital bed,
Waiting...
For the day to arrive
