Fast Enough

Waking to the sound of my mother calling me for my meal
Going to the place filled with so many people and cold stares
Returning to the place that kept me in my hollow world
Running to my dreamland to keep me from going insane.
And so the cycle continues, day after day,
I want a way out, but I'm afraid of the pain that I would endure.
The days pass, my life slips from my hands, but not fast enough,
No, not fast enough.
