And justice for all?

He had the ticket to human rights bestowed upon him
while he was
climbing the corporate ladder,
moving up society's stairs, and
becoming one of the elite chess pieces among a sea of pawns.
Along the way he got a few premiums,
including an insurance for his family
and the ability to be granted help when he needs it.

The pinnacle of the pyramid.
The stone above the stones.
Looking out into a sea of faceless faces he's among
the defined few.
All's fair in this world,
abiding by the laws of the dog-eat-dog Darwinist.

They're the ones who work for him.
Crossing the divide everyday into the
fantasy world of silver spoons,
embroidered cushions, and gilded tiles.
Along the way they earn enough to pull through the day,
a handful of rice and something to buffer them against the night.

The base of the pyramid.
The stones below the stone.
Looking out into a sea of faceless faces they are
one uniformed entity.
All's unfair in this world,
abiding by the laws of the dog-eat-dog Darwinist.
