Opened wide

My doors are always open,
these days my shoulders are never dry,
your tears stream down your face,
remember my arms are openned wide

You laugh to cover up the pain,
day dreaming only numbs it,
blanky staring into space,
your cover tries to erase it

Mindlessly roaming the streets,
unwilling to go back,
your heart is shattering while your tears run dry,
the sobs fill the night sky.

Stars twinkle thier lullabye,
wind rushs in your face,
you feet hit the pavement,
running has it's grace

But, remember...

My doors are always open,
these days my shoulders are never dry,
your tears stream down your face,
remember my arms are openned wide

Walking our halls you wear a mask,
many times it cracks,
everyone has seen you cry,
very few know why

When you near other you refuse to talk,
but when alone your walls crash,
slowly we've been trying to pick up the pieces,
it's hard when ours are in sync with yours

Those phone calls in the night,
when I hear, but your tears aren't in sight,
where my eyes swell along,
it's like a truly sad song

All I can say is remember...

My doors are always open,
these days my shoulders are never dry,
your tears stream down your face,
remember my arms are openned wide

Please don't run away,
don't go and hide,
cause we need you like you need us,
just try to remember...

My doors are always open,
these days my shoulders are never dry,
your tears stream down your face,
remeber my arms are openned wide
