Her Time

Inhale,
Exhale,
Inhale,
Exhale,
This was it,
She just knew,
Why bother living if nobody even realized she exists?
She was like the air,
Or a wall,
Or maybe she was just plain invisible,
Nobody cared,
Nobody looked,
Nobody talked,
Nobody noticed,
Except for him,
The man she fell deeply for,
But sadly,
He only felt like that she was a sister to him,
Nothing more,
Why be in more pain?
He loved someone else,
That was painly clear,
She stepped closer to the edge,
She won’t even be surprised if nobody noticed her gone,
He probably won’t even notice,
He was too blind to notice her now,
He was love blind,
To a girl that was most definitely not her,
A silver droplet from pale blue eyes,
Slid down to her pale dry cheeks,
Her white dress fluttered wildly against the wind,
Just like her long brown hair,
He picked out this torturous dress,
It was the only one she ever owned,
He said that it matched her,
White: purity, naivety, innocence,
She thought differently,
It matched her because it looked dead,
Hollow,
Empty,
Plain,
She closed her eyes softly,
Licked her unchapped lips,
And thought about the last memory when she was with him being happy,
Then she leant forward,
As the crisp fall wind slapped her face,
As she soared down,
She just knew it,
This was her time.
