All these fears
Figuratively speaking
There’s an elephant at my door
An elephant who believes he’s
Drowning
In my living room
There’s a panda hiding
‘Cause he’s heard
He’s going extinct
Seriously though,
A polar bear is raiding my fridge
Because he doesn’t have enough
Food where he’s from
And the only one who laughs
Is the giraffe, jumping in my bed
‘Cause she’s the only one
Who’s not upset
By stupid things
Like drowning
And being extinct
And starving
And so she laughs again
At the frightened animals
Because she doesn’t know
What fear is like
There’s an elephant at my door
An elephant who believes he’s
Drowning
In my living room
There’s a panda hiding
‘Cause he’s heard
He’s going extinct
Seriously though,
A polar bear is raiding my fridge
Because he doesn’t have enough
Food where he’s from
And the only one who laughs
Is the giraffe, jumping in my bed
‘Cause she’s the only one
Who’s not upset
By stupid things
Like drowning
And being extinct
And starving
And so she laughs again
At the frightened animals
Because she doesn’t know
What fear is like
