As I See, I Wonder

As I see the two newcomers entering,
I wonder why they are traveling
As a pair
Instead of as a spare.

As I see their large differences in height,
I wonder what makes them fight
To stay together
And if they have been that way since forever.

As I see the smaller man talking,
I wonder if the larger one is blocking
What is being said
Or if he is just an airhead.

As I see the boss' curiosity rising high,
I wonder if he is wondering why,
Deciding whether or not the small man is taking all the money
Or if he just thinks he is being funny.

As I see the boss contemplating,
I no longer wonder; I know that the two men's stay is going to be interesting.

This is a poem that I wrote for my final English project for the book 'Of Mice And Men'.
So yeah. I hope you liked it. =D
