The Wind

The wind is my master
The quick moving air
Tell me, will we last or
How else will we fare

If the wind takes me north
Then I will be cold
But my life must move forth
Even when I am old

If the wind takes me south
To the heat of the sun
To the warmth of your mouth
Is where I will run

If the wind takes me west
It's the ocean I'll see
The deep blue does no less
Than remind me of thee

If the wind takes me east
I will visit the plains
Where love in the least
Neither one of us feigns

If the wind does not blow
I will stay here with you
But I know I will go
For there is so much to do

I will go where I'm blown
Don't fear for our sake
Because I have known
A stronger us it will make
