By Tearless Eyes
I walk through a city
Of cold Winter air.
Snow flurries fly by
Without a care.
By roads and roads
I drift like sand,
Until I stop
In a wonderous new land.
A mile east
The colors of Fall.
Pieces of paper
Under trees so tall.
By branches and branches
I take the run,
Breaking free
Into the Summer's sun.
Not an ordinary pool
A pool of life.
Where heat meets skin
Sharp like a knife.
By waters and waters
I swim away,
Saving myself
From a terrible day.
A season so random
The brightness of Spring.
Ahead in the blooming
A vision so clean.
By eyes and eyes
I see you clear,
And never again
Do I shed a tear.
By eyes and eyes.
Of cold Winter air.
Snow flurries fly by
Without a care.
By roads and roads
I drift like sand,
Until I stop
In a wonderous new land.
A mile east
The colors of Fall.
Pieces of paper
Under trees so tall.
By branches and branches
I take the run,
Breaking free
Into the Summer's sun.
Not an ordinary pool
A pool of life.
Where heat meets skin
Sharp like a knife.
By waters and waters
I swim away,
Saving myself
From a terrible day.
A season so random
The brightness of Spring.
Ahead in the blooming
A vision so clean.
By eyes and eyes
I see you clear,
And never again
Do I shed a tear.
By eyes and eyes.
