But what if, Delany?

So her name is Delany. So she has a weakness. Everyone does, and she knows it. But what if? What if they knew, or found out? That her hope can destroy her. Delany hopes, and her hopes are too high for her to handle. Her creative and open mind set her hopes on a friendzy to heights she only wishes she could reach. It breaks her heart when her world comes tumbling down, all because of her. The worst part is, she keeps going, and she's growing tired of it. She only wishes for help, wishes for somebody, anybody, to help her when she calls. But no one can hear poor Delany. What a silly girl, her mind in the clouds while her feet are still planted. Delany only knows how she tortures herself with the happiness she has. That little spark she feels in the pit of her stomach that tells her she has a chance. The patience she has can only weigh her down because she was raised to believe that all you can do is hope, and wait for your golden chance that will always come in the end. Delany is tormenting herself with the thought that it is possible and it will happen, but people like her don't get very far in reality, and that is why the guilt she feels and the pity that she takes can only be for herself. Her hopes in her world are different than that in the real world. So this poor, mislead, foolish Delany must face what's right in front of her for the better.
So Delany will live the life she will never dream of, and live it border-line, but she always keeps in mind that if she goes any further, it will only bring her back to the beginning. The beginning of this story, her story. This is only for the fact that no one was there to help her, no one was listening to her, so no one knew. But what if, Delany?
