Time for school, time for work, time for things to do.
Many things to do in a day, God gave to you.
Say you do not want to,
Say you hate it all,
Say you want to do the other things that call.

You are but young, you need to learn,
You have no eyes nor ears,
You think you know it all; I think you're very queer.
Listen all around you;
What do you hear?

I hear many things, not just what I want.
I know how you feel, how can I not?
I am like you, I am the same,
I am you,
if you put it that way.

Think like others, not of yourselves,
You shall live much better.
Take in what others say, take out but only your heart.
For if you live this way,
You'll be happy forever.
