Our Independence Day

I pour my heart out to those who hate their lives,
Who want to die,
Who've lost all hope,
And always cry.
I pour my heart out to those,
Who have had their hearts broken,
Whose smiles have faded,
Their love was stolen.
Their tears run down their faces,
Because of pain that was wasted,
The bitterness that tasted,
Of the rain on their faces.
I pour my heart out to those,
Who can't take it anymore
The ones who try to walk out the door,
Who can't live, but can't drop to the floor,
I pour my heart out to those,
Who have been abandoned,
Neglected,
Rejected,
Tossed up then down and hated.
I pour my heart out to those people,
Because I know the pain you feel
Trust me, I know that it's real,
And what I'm saying to you is: We can't keep living this way,
I know it's hard to let go, and move on, but who cares?
Let's take a fucking risk, let's do it together, for we cannot miss this.
So lets go!
Hand in hand!
Side by side!
Together we can be happy, forever and always,
Together is where we will always be safe,
We will always stay,
We'll always pray,
Praying for the day when we can scream hooray!
Maybe the Gods will hear us! Maybe the sky will form around us!
Whatever happens, that day will be a day to remember, and to surrender.
Let's not forget each other, from the first to the last,
Let's change our future, so it's better than our past.
