The Truth

How can you go around saying the things you do
Without knowing that it effects others rather than you
You might be just fooling around
But you are continuing to bring people down

Can you not see the pain in our eyes
Even though we wear a disguise
It hurts more than you may think
You might see a slight tear if you don't blink

Why can't you see the way you make people feel
And just push it off like its not a big deal
Do you not understand how we want to cry
Or feel like it wouldn't matter if we were to die

You walk away and leave us behind
Leaving us to thoughts in our mind
You should pay more attention to those around you
Then you'd notice that we're blue

Next time listen when someone tells this to you
Instead of pushing it aside and say it's not true
Don't feel as if you're committing a crime
Just watch what you say next time
