Angel

Moonlit streets quietly sleep,
The brakes scream for mercy,
The slick road smiles like the devil,
His angelic face hits the pavement like thunder.
And with that the skies open up, a soft drizzle mixes with dark blood.
Rain, oil, blood, and wine.
A car upside down,
An angel through the windshield,
This was not his time to go,
He's on my mind and in my heart.
Heaven welcomes him with open arms,
A real life angel, finally got his wings.
He deserved to live, but at least now he flies.
Rest peacefully and be my guardian please.
Forever in my heart, I'll think of you always.
