Mirror

Looking in the mirror,
Nothing there but a hideous reflection,
Mascara & eyeliner running down her cheeks,
Dark chocolate eyes red from the tears that shed.
Black hair a tangled mess,
Wild, untamed curls springing out in different directions,
Giving her another reason to hate
the reflection in the mirror.
Hands trembling as she tries to control the tears,
Coughing as she tries to control herself,
But the weak don't have enough strength to,
Never have, never will.
Mirror, why do you hate her so?
Mirror, why do you hate me so?
