Silent Dance

My ears are filled
With the strumming of electric guitar
And the voices of singers
Who are silent to everyone else
I dance to a beat
That no one hears
People stare
As I sway my hips to nonexistant music
People laugh
As I wave my arms above my head
The song fades to a stop
And I turn off my ipod
