Broken Dreams
Here I come again
Walking past these broken dreams
They day light and sky are aging
This is what I’ve become
Here I come again
Desiring what I can’t have
Cause the sky will never be the same
But i’ve gotten used to that
In my head I scream my name
Not knowing what to expect
It echoes in the hopeless cave
That holds my dreams and thoughts
Still trying to find my way
Through that circled maze of squares
Somehow a part goes in
But it never really fits
Now I’ll return to that place
That I used to call home
Return to reality
And leave this fantasy world alone.
Walking past these broken dreams
They day light and sky are aging
This is what I’ve become
Here I come again
Desiring what I can’t have
Cause the sky will never be the same
But i’ve gotten used to that
In my head I scream my name
Not knowing what to expect
It echoes in the hopeless cave
That holds my dreams and thoughts
Still trying to find my way
Through that circled maze of squares
Somehow a part goes in
But it never really fits
Now I’ll return to that place
That I used to call home
Return to reality
And leave this fantasy world alone.
