The pedestal

You put her on a pedestal, and would treat her as a prize.
Whisper sweet whispers in her ears, and look into her eyes.
You two were so perfect, until the fouteenth day.
When that new girl, came and took you away.
And after that you'd always leave, and break the pedestal in the end.
And every girl you went through, wasn't half as good my friend.
And you'd come crawling back, and begging for her love.
And rebuild the pedestal, said it fit like a glove.
But every time you built it up, something seemed wrong.
It would wiggle and wobble, it wasn't very strong.
So one day it went and fell away, once you slamed the door.
And she couldn't move, she was stuck to the floor.
You used her over and over again, like a big tool.
But you're the one who lost a love, you stupid fool.
Secretly she whished as she smiled, she could drown you in a pool.
Cause you went off to find, another girl to build for a pedestal.
And even if you lover her, and say that it's til the end.
How could I love a guy, who'd do that to my best friend?
