Isn't High School Wonderful?

She sits in bed and wonders why
Everything has to change.
There's nothing there to live by
And there's nothing there to live for.
She shuffles cards and holds back tears
Tries to stay strong and tries not to care
Avoids all the things that she fears
And thinks about the next times.
She cannot stop thinking about words said
And hateful glances exchanged.
She looks around, all she sees is red
When she remembers no one cares.
She looks in her drawers for the sharp things there
But can't bring herself to do it anymore.
Too many promises, it wouldn't be fair...
Even though it doesn't even matter.
She stares at her walls and hums to herself
Insanity calling her name desprately
She can't find the truth for what its worth
But it never really matters if she does
