Blood Painted Room

A black room with painted walls,
Bathed in the glow of a light blood red,
Abstract shadows sinfully dance about,
Laughing and taunting within my head.

The figures leap and thrash,
An evil laugh pierces the creepy scene.
Laughing tares into the walls,
Clawing the abyss as the shadows scream.

White light bleeds into the crimson room
Scattering spearing rays across the dark prison.
The dancing halts and the pain speeds,
stabbing the old as the new is risen.

Blood pours from the ceiling and through the walls,
Tears of the past at the healing.
No one sees the fleeing spirits,
As the ghosts of the pasts are sent reeling.

Fear comes with the hope the light gives,
Hope that all is forgiven.
Help does not come as eyes scan the former room
Of the girl that was once lost but now is driven.
