Not sure what to call it

She follows the shadow that leads nowhere.
She stumbles upon her feet.
Direction she does not have here,
She only possesses defeat.

While the big world is sleeping,
She sits there wide awake.
Her loneliness starts creeping,
It’s too much for her heart to take.

She spends hours in the past,
Pondering what was.
Still trying to make old memories last,
And realizing nothing good does.

Reality sinks deep,
It sinks right into her head.
Weighing her down and causing her to weep,
All she wants to do is lay in bed.

She wonders if she left the world today,
Would even just one remember her face?
She thinks about it every day,
To her, she is just one extra girl in this place.
