Perfection

If there was a button
That could erase my flaws
I'd push it over and over
I'd probably never stop

If I had a mirror
One that made me pretty
I'd stare into it forever
Death by vanity

If there was a pair of arms
To take away my pain
I'd wrap myself up in them
Forever there I'll stay

If there was a potion of perfection
I'd drink it everyday
There's always a new 'perfect'
I'd drink my life away

If my memories had a switch
I'd just turn them off
Who needs pain and misery?
I'd be better off

Craving always to be perfect
Such a deadly disease
It's killing people everyday
People like you and me

If love had a voice
Then what would it say?
You're perfect just the way you are
Who needs opinions anyway?
