Razor Blade

As the blade pierces his skin,
his sins and sorrows leave.
The new blade cuts deep,
to his very soul.
As he bleeds,
the pain of his life vanishes.
The cut, never deep enough,
its red tears leak down his limbs.
The blood reminds him,
of the hatred and the pain,
that never leaves his soul.
The pain and hatred of the ones outside his shell,
that try to help, but know nothing of him.
The flow of relief begins to stop,
he starts his normal life again.
But as,
his happiness never remains the same.
The pain, troubles, sorrows, and hate,
soon return to his life.
So he begins once more,
with another new blade.
Forever wishing for more,
in the pitiful life he leads.
