For My Best Friends

There is nothing that can replace,
The feelings that I felt
When the sun was shining on my face.
The moment that I like the best.
When the birds were singing.
As if welcoming the morning.

Mom was cooking in the kitchen,
Dad was sitting on the chair,
Together with my brother.
While reading the newspaper.

I was so happy,
To have such a great family.
But what made me even happier,
Was going to school and gather
With my best friends.

Spending time with them,
Laughing together,
And hugging each other,
Had turned each day even better and better.

Sixth of July
Was one of the happiest day
in my life.
But seventh of July,
Was the day,
That made me cry.

Today,
I woke up as usual.
Staring out the window,
Heading for the door,
I hung my head low.

Having breakfast a usual,
Together with my family.
But at that time,
I wasn’t happy.

Arriving at my new school,
Made me snapped out of my trance.
I would no longer see
The smiles on my best friends’ faces.
We were all studying in different schools.
The old days had passed,
And I had to go to my new class.

To meet my new teachers,
And my new friends.

There is nothing that can replace,
The feelings that I felt
When the sun was shining on my face.
The moment that I like the best.
When the birds were singing.
As if welcoming the morning.

Now I know that,
There are certain things that can replace
all of the things that I’ve said before.

Being together with the both of you,
Being apart from each other no more,
Doing the things that we used to do,

All the time that I had spent with you guys,
Was more precious,
Than having a thousand birds singing
In the morning.

There is nothing that can replace,
The feelings that I felt
When I was with you guys.
Even if we had to be apart
You will always leave a trace of friendship
In my heart.
