Beyond the pain

Shattered dreams, childhood destroyed
Memories of laughter, beyond the pain
There she kneels, soaked, in the pouring rain

And if you asked her,
she would awnser,
always a smile upon her face.
But beyond the jokes and laughter,
a fragile, nearly broken soul remains.
She clings to life ever so dearly,
treasuring every gesture of faith.
Her eyes shine clearly,
